My Mom is amazing.
There are so many things that I have learned from her over the years, such as.........
NOTHING IS MORE ANNOYING THAN FUN ROCK!!!!
For weeks now the tennants above us
have been smoking so much our apartment is unbreathable,
not to mention continuously flooding their bathtub
which then drips through our vent and onto our toilet
making it impossible to go to the bathroom
unless you like getting wet from her bath water.

Gross.
Long story why this hasn't been resolved yet, but Saturday morning is/was the scheduled
date for "maintenence" to check out their apartment to see WHY they keep flooding their
tub.

This morning as I attempted to use our toilet without getting wet,
I thought to myself,
"Self, What would be the worst thing to have happen while taking a bath?
How can I get her out of her bathtub and drain the water so I can use my toilet."

Hmmmmm.
WWMD?
(What Would Mom Do)
Mom never used harsh words,
never yelled,
never even told us what to do!
Of course..........
she was trying to get us out of bed,
not out of the bathtub.
never yelled,
never even told us what to do!
Of course..........
she was trying to get us out of bed,
not out of the bathtub.
Same concept!?
She blared her Fun Rock tape through all the intercoms of the house. Lucky for me I made a copy of her music this past year (don't ask me why, I never listen to it).
And now, I found the PERFECT opportunity to use it!
Right before I left,
I positioned the speakers right by the leaking vent,
turned up the volume,
and hit REPEAT SONG
and I left.
Song of choice?
"They're Coming To Take Me Away"
And in case you're wondering how this worked out for me?
Soon after the music started, Clark told me they started fighting,
someone called the cops, and the woman in that apartment isn't on
the lease and was caught living there and they've been given a
notice if she doesn't leave they'll both be kicked out.

Ahhhhh, the wonderful things you learn from childhood!!!!
Here's the song for those of you who weren't schooled in classic music.
